How a page gets updated
Each guide has a visible date. When an operator changes its welcome offer, payment list or licence status, the page is edited against the terms on the operator's own site and the date changes with it. Pages that do not depend on live offers, such as rule explainers, keep the date of their last edit rather than a new one every day.
What the site does not do
It does not accept payment for a position in a ranking, it does not publish a rating it cannot source, and it does not describe a casino as licensed in South Africa unless the licence is on a public register. Where a fact cannot be confirmed, the field is left out.
Where the facts come from
Licence names and numbers are read from the operator's footer and the regulator's public register where one exists. Offers, wagering and minimum deposits come from the operator's promotions page or terms. Payment lists come from the cashier. Rules of play, such as how a bet type settles, are taken from the operator's own rulebook, because the same bet can settle differently from one bookmaker to the next.
